Terms of Use

By accessing the website at https://kazifi.co and all subdomains, or by creating an account or using Kazifi, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and you accept responsibility for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, form the full agreement between you and Kazifi. If anything here is unclear, write to hi@kazifi.co.

Permission is granted to temporarily access and use Kazifi for personal, non-commercial use, subject to the plan you are on. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• modify or copy Kazifi's proprietary materials, except for the documents you create and are entitled to export;
• attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Kazifi's website;
• remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
• transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.

This license shall terminate automatically if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Kazifi at any time. Upon termination, you must destroy any downloaded Kazifi materials in your possession, whether in electronic or printed format. This does not affect the documents you have created, which remain yours. See Your content.

Kazifi Pro and individual subscriptions are licensed for personal, individual use only. You may not use Kazifi on behalf of other individuals, organizations, agencies, or businesses for commercial purposes, including, but not limited to, resume-writing services, career-coaching or consulting services, staffing or recruiting operations, or any activity intended to benefit third-party job seekers.

Unauthorized commercial or multi-user use may result in suspension or termination of access. Organizations, agencies, and individuals seeking to assist other job seekers or provide commercial resume and career services should contact us at hi@kazifi.co about a team plan, which is designed for multi-user and commercial use cases.

Kazifi is a job-hunt OS, a set of tools for building resumes, generating cover letters, optimising LinkedIn, practising interviews, and tracking applications. We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but we do not promise zero downtime.

We may update, change, or discontinue features. If we remove a feature you actively use, we'll give you reasonable notice.

You're responsible for the account. Don't share credentials. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and email hi@kazifi.co.

One account per person. You can have multiple resumes, cover letters, and applications within the account. That's the point.

Free welcome credits and any introductory free allowance are granted once per person. If you delete an account and sign up again with the same email address (including formatting variants of it, such as a "+tag" alias of the same mailbox), you're welcome back, but the free welcome credits are not granted a second time. To enforce this we keep an irreversible one-way hash of the email after deletion; see the Privacy Policy retention rules.

You own everything you create on Kazifi: resumes, cover letters, application notes, interview transcripts. We don't claim copyright on your content, and we don't license it for any purpose beyond providing the service to you.

You grant us a narrow, non-exclusive licence solely to host, display, and process your content so the product works (e.g. sending text to the AI provider to rewrite a bullet). That licence ends when you delete the content or the account.

When you upload a document (typically an existing resume) for us to read and import, the file is written to a temporary, sandboxed location solely so we can scan it for malware and extract its text. This is quick, one-off processing: the uploaded file is deleted automatically as soon as processing finishes or fails, and it is not kept in that original form.

What we retain afterwards is the text and structured content extracted from the document, which becomes part of your content and follows the Privacy Policy retention rules. We also use this extracted information to pre-fill your profile and account details during onboarding, so you don't have to retype what's already in your resume; you can review and edit any of it. If a file is flagged by the malware scan, it is rejected and discarded rather than processed. The scan and extraction run entirely on our own servers. Your uploaded file is not sent to any third party to be scanned or parsed. See Uploaded files & temporary processing in the Privacy Policy for the data-protection detail.

Don't use Kazifi to:

• Generate or submit fraudulent or knowingly false employment information.
• Impersonate another person or claim credentials you don't hold.
• Spam recruiters, mass-blast unsolicited content, or scrape the platform.
• Break the law or violate someone else's rights.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or wrap the product in a competing service.
• Create multiple or duplicate accounts to claim free credits, trials, or other introductory benefits more than once.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this, with a fair-warning policy in non-severe cases.

Passes are one-time. A week pass ($4.99) or a month pass ($14.99) gives you Pro for that period, and nothing renews. If you choose a recurring plan instead, it renews automatically until you cancel from Settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep access until then.

If your payment method fails, we'll retry a few times, then downgrade you to the free tier. We don't lock you out of your documents.

Free accounts include a set number of resume slots (three at the time of writing). Paid plans include more, and we may grant additional slots, for example, through support or a promotion. Your effective allowance is your plan's resume slots plus any bonus credits you've earned or been granted.

You can earn extra resume slots by inviting other people. When someone signs up through your referral link, you receive a set number of bonus resume credits. We set the reward amount and may change it. Don't game referrals: self-referrals, fake or throwaway signups, or other manipulation may void the rewards and credits and can lead to suspension. Finalising or downloading a resume locks that version, so the copy you sent out stays exactly as it was. A locked resume can't be edited or deleted. To tailor a new version for a different role, duplicate it, which uses one of your resume slots. This keeps things fair: a slot is one polished resume, not an unlimited canvas you rewrite for every application.

Kazifi uses large-language-model providers to generate text. AI output may be inaccurate. You're responsible for reviewing it before sending anything to a recruiter, employer, or third party.

We do not guarantee outcomes. Getting interviews, offers, or any specific role is not promised by using Kazifi.

The materials on Kazifi's website are provided on an "as is" basis. Kazifi makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

Further, Kazifi does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

In no event shall Kazifi or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Kazifi's website, even if Kazifi or a Kazifi authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law, for example, for fraud, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct.

The materials appearing on Kazifi's website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Kazifi does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. Kazifi may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. However, Kazifi does not make any commitment to update the materials.

You can close your account at any time. We can close yours if you materially breach these terms or use the product to harm others, with notice unless the breach makes notice unsafe or impractical. On termination, your data is handled per the Privacy Policy retention rules.

Kazifi may revise these Terms of Use at any time without notice. We notify active users by email when these terms materially change, and by using this website you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these terms. If you don't agree, cancel and delete the account before the change takes effect.

We process personal data in line with applicable data-protection laws, including the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Privacy Policy forms part of these terms and sets out what we collect, the legal bases we rely on, how long we keep it, who processes it on our behalf, and how uploaded files are handled.

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or another jurisdiction with comparable rights, you may access, correct, export, delete, object to, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time, by emailing privacy@kazifi.co. See Your rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Where you upload information about other people (for example, referees or colleagues named in a resume), you confirm you have a lawful basis to share it with us for processing.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Kazifi is incorporated. Disputes are resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. This is standard, not adversarial.
